# Deframer > Deframer is a Framer to code converter: it turns a published Framer site into a clean, editable TypeScript project for Next.js (App Router, the default), TanStack Start, Astro, React Router or Vite, which you download as a .zip, own and host where you choose. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with Framer. Move your Framer site to clean TypeScript code for Next.js, TanStack Start, Astro, React Router or Vite. - Input: the public address of a site published with Framer (framer.website, framer.app or a custom domain). Deframer reads only the files the published site serves to its visitors, and needs no access to the Framer editor or account. A password-protected site is read with the password you enter, which is used once and never stored. - Frameworks: Next.js (App Router, the default), TanStack Start, Astro, React Router or Vite (a static site, no server), chosen for each conversion, all in TypeScript. - Output: a React 19 project in TypeScript (.ts and .tsx files, and .astro pages in Astro): one route per page with its metadata, components with CSS modules, design tokens and text styles, Framer CMS collections as JSON, native forms as API routes with webhook delivery, the site's redirects, robots.txt and sitemap, and the animation library motion. No Framer runtime: a small, readable helper kit replaces it. A Next.js project runs on Next.js 16; a TanStack Start project builds with Rsbuild and runs on srvx (Node.js 22.18 or later); an Astro project builds with Astro 7 and Vite, prerenders every page to static HTML that hydrates as one React island, and runs on Node.js 22.18 or later; a React Router project uses React Router 8 in framework mode, prerenders every page and runs on Node.js 22.22 or later; a Vite project builds with Vite 8 into a static site (`dist/`) for any static host, with no server. - Ownership: anyone signed in can convert a published Framer site; downloading the code is only for your own site, or one whose owner allows it (such as an agency's client). Download for 1 credit with a verification meta tag on the published site, or for 10 credits without site verification after confirming ownership or permission. - Site protection: 10 credits once per verified site. Free setup and verification, free pause/resume. Active registrations block Deframer conversions, cached downloads and previews for all users, including direct downloads. Optional inline capture deterrents can be bypassed by third-party tools; public source remains public. Guide: https://deframer.co/docs/site-protection. - Price: free to convert; 1 credit for a verified download, or 10 credits to download without verification after confirming ownership or permission, once per project. Packs are $10 for 1 credit, $25 for 5, $100 for 30, paid once, not per month. Credits never expire, and a failed conversion costs nothing. - Lifetime deal: $397 once; every download of a site you verify is free for as long as Deframer runs. It covers verified downloads only: a download without verification still costs 10 credits, and site protection is paid with credits. - Daily allowance: 3 free conversions a day; 20 a day once you've bought credits, over a rolling 24 hours. - Download: kept for 7 days after the conversion finishes; downloading the same project again is free. Every conversion is its own project. - Compare: when a live preview is available, the original and the converted site side by side at three widths, with synced scrolling, for up to 10 minutes after the preview is ready. ## Product - [Home](https://deframer.co/): what Deframer does, how it works (convert, review, verify, download), what the converted project contains, and the FAQ - [How it works](https://deframer.co/#how): the four steps on a real conversion: rebuild for free (and compare, when live previews are on), then unlock the download and ship - [What you get](https://deframer.co/#output): the structure of a converted project, shown on realmehdi.com's Next.js export (the same conversion is available for TanStack Start, Astro, React Router and Vite) - [Framer to Next.js](https://deframer.co/framer-to-nextjs): Convert a published Framer site to a Next.js 16 App Router project in TypeScript: one route per page, components with CSS modules, CMS as JSON.
