The Deframer affiliate program pays you 50% of every lifetime deal and 40% of every credit pack bought by someone you referred, for any purchase they make within 30 days of their first visit through your link. The $397 lifetime deal pays $198.50; the $100 Studio pack pays $40. You join on Whop in one click at the affiliates page, Whop tracks the referrals and pays you, and there is no application and no minimum.

This post is the full explainer: who the program suits, what each sale pays, how the 30-day window works, how to join and where your links point, what Whop handles, and the rules you agree to. Deframer is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Framer.

What Deframer is, in one paragraph

Deframer converts a published Framer site into a TypeScript project: Next.js by default, or TanStack Start, Astro, React Router or Vite. Converting is free. You pay to download the code: 1 credit for a verified download (the site owner publishes a one-line verification tag) or 10 credits for a direct download without verification. Credits never expire. The lifetime deal makes every verified download free. It is only for your own sites or sites whose owner has given permission, and that limit matters for how you describe it, covered below.

Who the program is for

It suits anyone whose audience already moves, or thinks about moving, Framer sites to code:

It is not a fit for anyone who would have to stretch the truth to sell it. If your audience never leaves Framer, there is nothing to refer.

What you earn

The rates are 50% of the lifetime deal and 40% of every credit pack. Here is what each sale pays at current prices:

The lifetime deal is the headline number because it is one sale, and it suits people who move several sites: every verified download of a site they verify is free, for life. The packs matter too, because most people who convert one site do not need a lifetime deal, and the 40% on a pack applies to every pack your referral buys in the window, not only the first.

Worked examples (hypothetical)

These are arithmetic, not forecasts. Nobody is promised a number of referrals.

  • You refer 3 people who each buy the lifetime deal: 3 × $198.50 = $595.50.
  • You refer 5 people who each buy a Starter pack: 5 × $10 = $50.
  • One referred agency buys a Studio pack, and three weeks later buys another: 2 × $40 = $80.
  • One lifetime deal plus two Starter packs from different people: $198.50 + $10 + $10 = $218.50.

Prices and rates are set on the pricing page and the affiliates page; if they change, those pages are the source of truth, and the rules allow rates to change for future sales.

The 30-day window

When someone opens deframer.co through your link, Deframer remembers your code in a first-party cookie for 30 days, and passes it to the checkout. Whop's own referral window is also 30 days. In practice:

  • A visitor who clicks your link, thinks about it, and buys 12 days later is yours.
  • Someone who signs up on day 2 and buys credits on day 25 is yours.
  • Every purchase in the window counts, not only the first.
  • The latest link wins. If the same person clicks another affiliate's link later, that affiliate gets the credit instead. This is why a clear recommendation matters more than a link in a footer.

A cookie is per browser. Someone who reads your post on their phone and buys on their laptop later may not be attributed to you. Nothing about the program can fix that, so don't promise readers anything about it.

How to join

  1. Open the affiliate program page and use the join button. It goes to Deframer's affiliate portal on Whop: https://whop.com/deframer/affiliates.
  2. Sign in with a free Whop account, or create one. Joining is one click. There is no application and no waiting; your links are ready as soon as you join.
  3. Copy your "Deframer landing page" link from the portal. It opens deframer.co with your code, which is your Whop username.
  4. Share it.

You can also point readers at any page you like by adding ?a= and your Whop username to a Deframer URL, such as deframer.co/pricing?a=yourname. That lets a post about Astro link straight to the Astro page and still count as yours.

The affiliates page also has a brand kit: banners sized for social cards, logos on light and dark, product screenshots and the product film, plus copy you can paste. Use them as they are.

How you are paid

Whop runs the program. It tracks referrals, holds commissions and pays them out under Whop's terms, into your Whop balance, from which you withdraw on Whop's schedule (to a bank, card or crypto, as the affiliates page lists). You need a Whop account to withdraw. Deframer does not pay you separately, and the exact timing and fees of withdrawals are Whop's to describe, so check Whop's pages rather than relying on this post.

A refunded or charged-back sale earns nothing, and its commission is reversed. That is also why you should be accurate about what you are selling. Someone who buys expecting something Deframer does not do will ask for a refund, and the sale and its commission go away.

The rules

These come from the program's terms, in plain language:

  • Describe Deframer accurately. It converts sites the buyer owns or has permission to convert.
  • No spam, misleading claims or fake reviews.
  • No self-referrals. A purchase you make yourself, or one between accounts you control, earns nothing.
  • No ads that bid on the Deframer name. Paid ads on other terms are fine, but ads that bid on the brand, or pretend to be Deframer, are not.
  • Rates can change for future sales, and Deframer may remove an affiliate who breaks the rules and withhold commission on the sales involved.

One more thing that is not a rule but is plain good practice: say you earn a commission when you link. The creator guide covers wording.

What to say, and what not to say

Accurate claims you can make: converting is free; the output is a TypeScript project you own; credits never expire; a verified download costs 1 credit; the lifetime deal is $397 once. Read what you get in a converted project before you describe the output, and the conversion tests to see what Deframer has checked and what it has not.

Claims to avoid: that it works on any site with no permission (it does not), that output never needs review (it does), that it is made by or endorsed by Framer (it is not), or any earnings figure you cannot support.

FAQ

Do I need to be a Deframer customer?

No. Anyone with a Whop account can join. Using the product yourself helps you write honestly about it, but it is not required.

Is there a minimum payout or a cap?

The program pages do not describe either, so don't state one. Check the portal on Whop for payout details.

Can I join as a company?

Whop accounts are Whop's to describe. The program itself only requires a Whop account.

Which sale earns more, the lifetime deal or a pack?

The lifetime deal pays more per sale ($198.50), while packs pay at 40%. Which one your audience buys depends on how many sites they move. Agencies lean to Studio or Lifetime; a solo owner with one site usually needs one credit.

What if someone I refer buys later than 30 days?

Then the sale is not attributed to you.

Can I use paid ads?

Yes, except ads that bid on the Deframer name or pretend to be Deframer.

What happens if a buyer asks for a refund?

The sale earns nothing and its commission is reversed.

Can I refer my own agency's purchases?

No. Self-referrals and referrals between accounts you control earn nothing.
